Posted: 11/07/03 - 21:12 Post subject: what do you want for christmas...
my parents are jump started this year, due to the fact that they have 3 business trips between now and christmas.
my dad asked me what i wanted i said "i dunno, i don't really have anything useful to ask for this year..." he said "well call me in 15 minutes and let me know what you think of"
15 minutes? no pressure... i guess they need to get started right quick.
so what's on the top of your list? and i'm talking material things (services will be included). no world peace pledges.
Blue's List (so far):
NHL 2004 GC (my g/f called dibs already)
Star Wars Rogue Squadron 3 GC
Taken - DVD box set
Swedish Chef Kitchen - Playset.
i'd like a digital camera but i think it's kind've a waste cuz i couldn't get a really nice one, so i'll wait on that.
otherwise i've got nothin'. i try to use my christmas gifts productively... my dad asked if i wanted a suit, i said that's a little too productive.. you need to use a christmas present more then twice a year.
now.you.go.
ps. i suppose friday night is a weak time to start a thread...

I'm looking for maybe:
sunglasses
printer/scanner/copier combo
battery and memory card for camera
running shoes/apparel
mountain bike? (don't really need one but it'd be kinda nice)
And it's Friday night chat time...

You get pretty specific with some of these things... I'm surprised you didn't include your address for us to send a gift.

Actually I think I did but should get my family going for now. They are always asking for ideas so I usually send it out around Halloween so they can start looking!

I don't have a list this year. It's been a big year for me already, and I feel pretty content. We're really not in the financial position to buy for anyone other than the children, and I haven't broken that news to hubby yet. But he's had a good year too, so it shouldn't be a problem.
Celebrating our first Christmas in our new home really is enough for me. A bit of the white stuff on Christmas Eve would make it perfect.
