As not only an identical twin but the father of twins, I feel I am one of two experts on this board on twins. Wanna guess the other.

So fire away.

have you ever felt sympathetic pain when the other is in real pain (i. e. - if greg broke his hand - did joe's hand also hurt)

is your mom still sane? what drugs did she do? i'm thinking strictly of the toddler and high school years. Shocked

kidding.

i've heard that non twin people can not/will not ever understand the bond. as a twin do you feel the same way or is that hooey?

i tend to believe non twins shall never relate to twinness, especially identical. do you think identical has it over fraternal in any way or vice versa?

chirp chirp.

we were the first two. there are 4 more after us.

yeah but I do not know what it is like to be a singleton

hard to say really. JJ and Abby are pretty close, but they spent a lot of time apart with Abby being in the hospital so much.
I think fraternal are more like brother and sister or bro bro, sis sis than idenitical.

chirp chirp.

Yeah, but wasn't that because he head-butted you? Wink

Seriously, I too have heard that there is a bond between twins that is like no other. Are you as close now as you were as kids, or were you closer then?

It must be really hard for you to watch Cappy go through all this heart stuff......I know it is for me, and we're just really good friends....Sad

brick courtesy of a neighbor hood kid, broke my nose.

we spent a lot of time trying to be separate. People do not treat us as individuals they treat us as two people all of the time. All I wanted growing up was to be treated as an individual not as a twin.

Is that because you whacked him in the head because he broke your nose?
