Heres what has been bugging me for a while. Namely, Im having occasional impotence problems and low sex drive. I also put on a few extra pounds which is also quite a turn off. I want to take up exercising in order to reduce my weight, and since I like cycling, Im thinking about starting with it but the problem is that I dont know whether it can have some bad effect on my impotence. Any ideas?

It depends on what causes these impotence problems of yours. If its psychological grounds then you can jump on your bike straight away. You should go and see your doctor in order to rule out physiological problems which could cause impotence and low sex drive. There are even certain researches which claim that cycling can increase sex drive in men after heart problems. Anyway, there are several things to take into consideration. For example, be careful when youre choosing a saddle. Also, the adjusting the saddle is of vital importance the difference between the height of the saddle and the height of the handlebar is not supposed to be more than 5cm. So, for the beginning, limit riding sessions to about half an hour at a time.
