I’d like to know what amateur speeds you can achieve. I’ve not started measuring my speed but I plan to do it. Do you try to maintain the same speed throughout the training or you have ups and downs? I have to make my running pace concept but I don’t know if that will significantly increase my speed. What do you think?

I also never measure my speed, maybe because I’m not trying to run too fast. I’m pretty satisfied with this snail pace of mine. I feel good and I’m not under any pressure. Maybe I should be more aware of my speed if I buy one of those gadgets for measuring speed, heart rate and similar. As for the maintaining the same speed I can say that it’s impossible eve if you run as slowly as I am. It’s normal that your body tires during the race and logically you need to slow down a bit in order to rest. I think that making your running pace concept can help you increase your speed.
