You can’t blame them. Or you can. It depends how you look at the problem. Some folks just can’t help it being envious of more successful friends, neighbors and colleagues. No matter what you do isn’t going to change their attitude. Why should you care? The only people you should pay attention to are your true friends, family and colleagues. There are many competitive swimmers who are using illegal substances but I see that you are smarter than that. You are on the right track. Enormous health issues aside, at least this way you know that every race you win is truly yours. Otherwise half of the medal you get would belong to some scientist who invented a new method to push your body beyond safety and health as well as cheating the system.
