I remember an old Bill Cosby routine where he talked about how VW Bug (We're talking the old ones with the engine in back people) owners were absolute maniacs on the road. Cutting and weaving, speeding basically being jerks. I had a personal amendment that if the VW Bug had a ski rack then the owners also thought they were invisible to Police radar.
Last month I heard Car Talk on NPR and they were discussing VW Jetta owners and how they were basically being jerks on the road. So it seems the fine VW tradition is continuing.
This poll will seek to find out if you guys also think Jetta (Or old VW Bug owners) drive like jerks. For the record I owned a VW Scirocco from 1975 - 1979

The only people I know with VWs are huge losers. Not such great drivers either.
I didn't know VW bugs could go over 65...

Most of the VW driver's that I see are young females (yes Genie falls into this category) and they are for the most part courteous

I picked #2...even though I don't OWN a Jetta...I wish I did...it was my last CAR...now I drive SUV's! I LOVED (and sadly miss) my Jetta!!!

I own a New Beetle.... I don't think I drive badly... Although, I seemed to have the cloaking device on my VW this morning... everyone was turning into me or taking over my lane with me still in it.

Only Jetta driver I know is fine looking young lady and I'm assuming she's a good driver because she is a runner. I have no other basis for my assumption so it's quite possible it's faulty.
