Posted: 07/19/03 - 19:50 Post subject: Timex GPS/HRM monitor report
Got it Friday, tried to set it up before my run, but was only able to use the hrm function.
Spent my overnight shift last night setting the watch up which took about an hour, to make it specific for me, my hr, etc.
Took it today for its first run.
I wanted to verify a path's distance mainly because I want to begin running there more.
It was dead on accurate.
The distances of the other roads found to be right on also.
The hr data given was nice.
Over all, I am in love with the watch, especially since I am going away in 1 1/2 weeks I will be able to verify distances and stuff.

Glad you like it! I have the GPS unit, and have loved it. It really frees up your running and it great when you're out of town.
Make sure you mark down every 100th of a mile for Team Abby!!

Glad you like it. I wonder if we were out together if signals would cross.
I only have the regular GPS though. I still wear the Polar XT as well

I've got a Timex HRM and I've had problems with the signals getting mixed up when I ran with another Timex HRM user.
