I want to improve my overall form and fitness. I have desire and will to do so, but lack logistics. I have a tight schedule (that is an understatement) and nearest pool is pretty far from where I live. Traveling there by car takes too much time (which I don’t have). So I manage to swim only two times a week. Do you think that it is too little exercise?

Given your situation, two weeks seems like a good deal to me. Although swimming more often would yield more benefits, going to the pool twice a week is OK. Any exercise is better than no exercise at all. If you spend an hour or so swimming each time you are at the pool you get enough exercise to improve your health and fitness. You can’t count on breaking the world record training like this, but I don’t think that this is your intention anyway. Get as much training as you can under the circumstances.

Two times a week seems pretty fine if you ask me. In between you can exercise at home, you can run, cycle or weight lift.
