Not so much Maroon/Red. I'm a blue fan myself. I'm not sure I am a help with this, but it just seems too bright. Perhaps it's just a perception from the other issues I have listed below.

I like to see who is browsing a particular forum, members and moderators.

I like to see who started a topic, and who the last one to reply was.

The top banner is a little high, can it be narrowed up a bit?

The entire format seems wider than before...lots of empty grey to the right. Can the text box be wider, or the format narrower? Everything seems wider (side to side) and narrower (top to bottom). Just seems a bit odd....

Just a gut feeling, but somehow it is not comming across as "user friendly". Others have remarked the same off list.
Could you have a few "non-running" friends who are not IT types look at it for different take/opinion? "Can't see the forrest for the trees" type situation?

I'm trying to give positive ideas here....all outa character for me...I'm more the slash and burn type.... Twisted Evil

I agree with Karlene. I like the banner. There's too much open space in the thread headings

I am okay with the color scheme, and the other changes

No other complaints from me

Ok, we'll work to bring back this last posted by column. Anyway, did anyone of you read the announcement regarding the article system?

Beneath each person's post, there used to be buttons for PM, Profile, E-Mail, and AIM. It would be nice to see at least the buttons for PM and Profile. I see there's a text link for sending message, but a button would look much better. And as of now there's currently no link to profile from a person's post.

FYI: The button at the bottom of each forum that would let you jump to another forum isn't working yet.

I posted this earlier (and received posting confirmation), but I don't see the post.

PLEASE reinstate the feature that lists thread starter so I can resume ignoring threads.

I'm in favor of the thread avoidance feature.

Plus, I miss the "view next topic, view previous topic" buttons.

those butons are there in the top right just as < and > now though

but YES!!!! to the originator and last post. ASAP on that. plus i'm a fan of Blue, Red is an angry rage color, it helps bring on stress. blue is calming and a stress reducer.
