I like to wear high heels very much. I have seen recently on TV that there was a competition organized for women to run in their high heels. I have heard that they plan to organize the same competition in my hometown and I would like to take part in it. Can you give me some advice on running in high heels? Thanks!

Before you start running in your high heels there are several things you have to know and to pay attention to. First, you should wear comfortable high heels; then, it is good to wear pantyhose when running because it is more comfortable than having nothing between your foot and your shoe; and thirdly, practice on a large flat surface so that it doesn’t hurt so much if you fall. When running hold your head high, but also look down often enough in order not to lose your footing. Start practicing running slowly at first and then gradually speed up until you are confident enough with the technique of running in high heels.

it is possible to run in high heels actually, but they have to be comfortable. that's a special, extra careful kind of running

There's a lot of silly competitions in this country. But if running in high heels is something that will make you happy, I say go for it.

This seems like a completely ridiculous competition. What is the distance you have to run? I imagine a lot of people breaking an ankle running in high heels.
