Anyone familiar with him? If not, I suggest you do. Great books, especially his latter stuff. I read My Name Is Red, which turned out to be one of the best books I've ever read. I've also read Snow and The White Castle. Snow was amazing, The White Castle not as much (but it was his first work that was widely translated - since then I think everything should be very solid).
