Calzones are much better. Too much sauce is what grosses me out about pizza.

Pizza and Me...
1. I didn't like pizza until I was in college.
2. Flatbread is glorified pizza in my book (and apparently flatbread is passe).
3. Crispy, crunch, crusted pizza is yummy.

I remember Pizza Hut's original thin & crispy. Yech, that was like cardboard with ketchup on it. SO happy they improved.
Best pizza you've ever had?

Have gotten their pepperoni pizzas on different occasions over the past several years, in locations from here to New Mexico. THEY CAN'T PREPARE IT WITHOUT BURNING IT.

Roll the dough, flip it in the air (Max was always disappointed - he always expected me to drop it - ), prepare the edge, throw on the ingredients. It's a treat. And we're overdue!

Sorry, I should have been more specific. I meant the thick crust stuff. I haven't eaten the crisp since then, do they still even make it?

Papa John's? Oven Grinders? You people don't know from pizza.
The best pizza on the planet is at Totonno's, Neptune Avenue in Brooklyn.
The second best pizza on the planet is at Joe's, Bleeker Street in Manhattan.
Nothing else compares. All other pizza sucks.

Hmmm.....we do have to be accountable for our opinions, you know. Care to provide a viable source for that statement, sonny? like a few slices?

I'm a big fan of Davanis.
But, when i was in college there was a local place (local meaning chains all over Iowa) called Pizza Ranch. They had this half price deal after 9pm for college students, so you know how often we were calling at 9:01. That explains the 15 lbs per year X 3 years I gained in college.
