Same guy just finished the NYCM in five days with the diver suit. It's great that he raises money, but when he gets more airtime on the sports segments of local news instead of when an actual amazing marathon like Khalid's or Paula's world records go uncovered, then I gotta wonder.

AHA! It was the NYCM! That wasn't long ago at all! So, I pulled up the wrong article - whoopty ding. I still thought it was interesting. Didn't know he had done it before. So, I guess I am only half the idiot I used to be, but even more ignorant.

what a shame
millions do a marathon a year
hundreds of millions are raised and go unnoticed
it is all about a gimmick
i have done two for leukemia, and finished them in the time allow (much ahead of the time allowed even)
