Charles Colson. Awesome dude, one of the smartest people I have ever met. He is also someone I greatly admire so it was a great pleasure to meet him.

I'd have to say Mr. Aire.
Although I've known him for 15 years, I still love his sense of humor, look forward to spending time with him--and I love discussing literature, history, politics or religion with him. His opinions are well thought out and he's considerate that others have different opinions. If he hasn't read/heard about an issue, he'll be honest and say so, rather than make something up.
Plus he's really intelligent and he's never boring.

Hmmmm....
The most interesting person I have ever met is our school's music teacher. Not saying that as an admirer or anything, but she certainly is interesting!

I don't think I have ever met anyone that wasn't interesting in some way.
It's all in what you make it.

Yabbut, there's "interesting" you want to spend time with and get to know and then there's "interesting" that you want to shower repeatedly after meeting.

Ron Cook from my firehouse. Man has nearly 50 years of service to the community, and he was my night crew partner. Good family man, and excellent mentor to all the younger members

Better watch out - shelfie will ban you from RR if he reads your assessment of him.

i havent met anyone that exceptional, everyones intersting in some way...
when i was catalina last summer, the dso (dive saftey office) told us about how he met the dahli lama at disney land. apparently the dl was standing in line for a ride eating popcorn, with his robed posse standing nearby. the dso went up and asked if he was the dl and said that he just wanted to shake hands.
