My wife just called to tell me that my bike has arrived! I really didn't expect it this week thanks to the 2" of freezing rain we got last night, but it's home!
Now I have to survive the next few hours until work is done, and try to get home in under 3 hours on sheer ice and not get into an accident.
Will this day ever end?!?

Leave work early. Grab your stomach and mumble something about explosive diarrhea while heading quickly for the door.

Now, don't you go riding that new bike on that ice without putting the chains on first!

I put the bike together last night and it's *#!*$%*# perfect!!!! No dents. No scratches. No bends. There is NOTHING wrong with it. I don't even need to change the brake pads.
Just need to fill the tires, adjust the brakes/bars/seat to my liking, and slap on some pedals.
That's by far the best buying experience I've had for a very long time.
Now to get rid of all the snow and ice....thank God for YakTrax!
BTW -- if anyone's up in Ottawa, look me up and we'll go for a ride!
