RUNNING: Doing okay. I am averaging almost 25 - 30 miles per week. That will die when I go on vacation in 2 weeks though. My pace has been pretty consistent. Now if I can start racing a little more consistently I would be happy.
BIKING: I am trying to add 10 miles of biking on the days I do my short run but I have not done a good job of it yet.
ROWING: See comment for biking but make the distance 5K. It looks like I will get serious after my vacation.
Weight Lifting: Non-existant
Eating To much of the wrong stuff and it is all at night. I know that part of the problem is that I dont want to snack in front of the kids so I don;t even start until they are in bed. Not a good thing. I need to just stay out of the pantry.
Drinking: Last 2 weeks have been way to many beers after work. I need cut back on my after work, hanging out in the driveway with the kids while Mrs. BOiler cooks dinner so lets have a beer or 3.
I need WILLPOWER!!!!
HELP

Running: None
Biking: 3 times a week for 20-30 minutes
Swimming: May start doing some laps again on Friday mornings
Lifting: Doctor okayed me to lift at VERY low weights, especially with the upper body. I have the stuff in my basement so I am taking advantage of it.
Eating: Need to get better
Plan on starting a cardiac rehab program soon, which will test to see how much I can actually handle without having a syncope or near sinkable episode. This should give me some confidence as to what I can really do. I know I will prolly never be to where I once was but the idea now is to get back on the roads and stay fit.

Well, lets see...
running-I got sick and didn't run for a couple of weeks, so not good.
lifting-I have not been able to run consistently enough to get in a running groove, where I feel I can start my weight program.
eating-anything I want, whenever I want it.
The Shame! The Shame!

Running: I've decided to concentrate on specific races, the 5K and 10K. The past year I worked on endurance and strength which give me a nice foundation for starting speedwork this Summer. I'm excited about this. Also, I'll start having specific goals for each run...actually running easy runs at an easy pace and then doing hard runs at a moderate pace.
Flexibility and strength training: weight lifting is pretty much nonexistant at this moment. I'm working on flexibility. I really think the Power Yoga for Runners is helping me a lot not just with flexibility but also with my breathing. I noticed that I could focus more during the Madison half.
Eating: I finally gained several lbs and am feeling stronger. That is good. I need to get in the habit of drinking more water and eating more veggies.

Running :: Coming off a good effort race, I've slacked off and am trying let some niggling aches heal up.
Biking :: I've got to admit a lack of mileage here. Road construction on my favorite commute to work has kept me from being ambitious about taking the rotten road back way in.
Swimming :: Non-existent, I'm going to put off the triathon idea. Getting ready for the Madcity halfM, I stuck to running and haven't gotten in the pool.
Rowing :: Probably the only training I've kept up. It's an easy routine to get to the fitness center and rap off a good workout.
Lifting :: My 'baby' is 26-lbs... there's my lifting.
Eating :: Those few extra winter pounds haven't left. Time to get serious.
