I've never done anything bigger than a 5K and I'm training for my first half marathon in September.

I've only starting running (off and on) but am hoping to keep to a normal training schedule (unfortunately my work schedule is NOT very normal).

Any recommendations on a good website for beginners?

My eyes have gone cross looking at the hundreds of internet sites out there.

Thanks and I look forward to chatting in here...

and as far as gear wise I think I'm pretty set...

- 2 sets of running shoes (overpronater) to alternate
- a pedometer, which I later found out is kind of useless
- water bottle belt and water bottle for holding in hand
- running friendly clothing (breatheable/moisture wicking)
