Some of you have really beautiful places to run.

Clearly I am not included. My route is called the "industrial wasteland trail". Sad

aawww... its not that bad what kinds of protection do you carry on your runs? Wink

I rely on my speed and agility only. It's a wonder i'm not in the morgue.

There is an upstanding establishment called "El Padrino Nightclub" about a mile into the route. They haven't had homicide over there in almost a month. (I'm not kidding.)

If you look at the picture, I-85 is right over the wall on the left side. It's just south of the 85-285 junction. I'm usually in respiratory distress about 2 miles into my run with all the CO out there.

well, everyones got to have some kind of goal right?

how about you come run with me near the river, where we only have to worry about abusive preachers who are on the run from the authorities... plus the smell of raw sewage is much more refreshing than car exhaust fumes

Great photos. I'm hoping to run in our neighborhood once it cools off some. I don't know how the current runners do it in this heat, but I see people out at all times of the day.

I do need to move the treadmill, but as it is now, there's not room to put it facing the window. That room is jam packed with the bowflex, computer, filing cabinet, bookcase, and miscellaneous stuff. I'm lucky to have my own room at this point! In the apartment all of that (minus the computer) was in our bedroom.
