ABOUT THIS EVENT:
The 2nd Annual Halloween Hustle 5k Run/Walk will take place Saturday October 20, 2007. This 5k Run/Walk event is held on a fast and fun course that runs through historic downtown Palatine. Afterwards partake in special after-party at Durty Nelly’s Pub.
AWARDS:
The 5k run is on a USATF-certified course, and will be timed. Awards will be given to the top overall male and female finisher as well as the top three runners in each age group, by gender. Special Awards & Prizes will be given to The Best Costume, Most Creative Costume & Most Halloween Spirit.
AMENETIES:
All participants will receive a Halloween Hustle custom designed T-shirt. Splits will be read at the first, second and third mile markers. Water will be provided before, on the course and after. Refreshments will be available after the event for all participants.
LOCATION & PARKING:
Race day "Base Camp" will be at the Parking Garage on the Corner of N. Smith and W. Colfax in Palatine, Illinois 60067. Please park in the top two levels in the parking garage (FREE!). The race will start at the base of the Parking Garage.
PACKET PICK UP & RACE REGISTRATION:
Numbers and race information will be available at Exquisite Jewelers (1590 N Rand Road, Palatine, Illinois 60074) on October 19, 2007 (11:00am-6:00pm), or may be picked up the morning of the race at the "base camp". Race day registration is from 6:45am to 8:15 a.m.
