Hi folks, Chuck The Skater here. Many of you have expressed an interest in viewing the Athens to Atlanta race....well this is a great way to see things up close an personal. you'll get to see some fast folks and you'll get to see those that do this 87 mile race for the sheer love of the sport.

There are plenty of spaces open for volunteering to include rest/water stops close to in-town, Stone Mountain aswell. no skate knowledge needed just a smile and words of encouragement to the almost defeated. most of us can relate to that.

The race is Sunday October 1st leaving Athens at 7:30am not all positions needs a volunteer at that moment the race sort of "rolls" along the course.

Stephanie is heading up the volunteers sk8toons@bellsouth.net and she can give full details if you wish to help.
