I'll be running the local Turkey Trot on Thursday, and I am reminded once again of the Thanksgiving story Crazy Mary told me so many years ago when I first moved next door to her.
Not long agon and not far away, a baby bull and a daddy bull were walking together in a pasture. They came to the top of a hill, looked down in the meadow, and saw 500 heifer cows. The baby said, "Daddy, let's RUN down the hill and stud us a heifer!" However, the daddy answered, "No, son, let's WALK down the hill and stud every one of them!"
So that's what Thanksgiving means to me.
